Groupe Air Sénégal, operating as Sénégal Airlines, is an airline with its head office on the property of Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport in Dakar, Senegal.[1] It is a regional carrier operating a scheduled domestic network and regional flights to neighbouring countries. Its main base is Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport.
The airline project has been launched after Air Sénégal International ceased its operations in 2009, and made its first flights on January 25, 2011.[2]
Sénégal Airlines's CEO is Edgardo Badiali, the former CEO of GoAir and MyAir.[3] It is 64% privately owned.[3]
